As an editor, I specialize in public policy, health, and international development issues. I mainly work with government agencies (and their partner organizations), international and local NGOs, academics, and consulting firms.
I’m most interested in what makes us healthy and thrive as individuals and as a society. This includes—for example—the social determinants of health, effective and efficient governmental policy across sectors, and health and health care in diverse settings.
While I mainly work as an editor, I also have experience in writing for print and online and in coaching NGO staff on writing. Reach out to talk more!
I’ve worked as an editor for more than a dozen years with a diverse range of clients. They include (among many others) Equimundo, the International Rescue Committee, UNDP, MenEngage Alliance, the Prevention Collaborative, Raising Voices, Coqual, USAID, and ILO.
I’ve also worked with academics based in Europe and Asia and with professional associations (such as the Consumer Technology Association and the National Association of Corporate Directors), with a particular interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I); environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues; and technological and frugal innovation.
I have an M.S. in global health policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a B.A. in journalism and Spanish from the University of Kentucky. I also have a professional certificate in editing from UC Berkeley (2022), and I’m currently completing a certificate in design communication arts from UCLA (est. 2026).
I’m from the United States and live in Lithuania with my husband, three daughters, and cat. Before Vilnius, we lived in Latvia, Germany, Russia, and Egypt. In my free time, I like quilting, reading about history (particularly on the US, Eastern Europe, and the Baltics), and visiting interesting landmarks, like those found on Atlas Obscura.
